Dalene Carlson is a Stockton resident who was reported missing on August 7th 2011 after last being seen at Finnegan's Pub and Grill in Stockton, California. Dalene Carlson had moved to Stockton only two months prior from Sandspoint, Idaho to "start a new life," according to family members. Jason Gilley who was a friend of Dalene Carlson has been the main point of interest in the investigation after being seen on a store's video surveillance footage with her the night of her disappearance. Yesterday afternoon a farmer in Escalon, California notice a dead body in his field on Lone Tree Rd. after harvesting his corn crop by tractor. The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Department was the first to be called to the scene. Investigators from the Stockton Police Department arrived soon after. Initially police were not able to confirm the identity of the body found as they had to use advanced scientific methods to identify it. Two days later police confirmed the identity of the body as Dalene Carlson.
